March Money Madness Recap

Let's ignore the fact that it's April 21, and I'm just now posting this! Life has been hectic lately!



In case you forgot what March Money Madness is (since it's almost the end of April!), check out my post detailing it. 

My goal was to make an extra $10 per day, which would've meant a total of $310. My final total for March was $255.27. I fell a little short, but I'm still proud of what I managed to do!

Phew, my hands are tired after typing all of that! 

Pros:

Okay, the most obvious pro was that I made some extra money! It came in handy to help boost our savings account, which was super helpful since we had to have some unexpected car repairs done on my car this month! 

I feel like this kept me from scrolling social media as much also and since I know that isn't good for my mental health, that's definitely a win!

Cons:

The most obvious con is that this was a lot of work for not a ton of money. It's easier than working a second job because I could pick and choose when I wanted to do these things, but it was a slog to hit my daily goals sometimes. I got really burned out on surveys!

Also, I accidentally loaded a game from Swagbucks onto my computer (instead of my tablet) and my computer got a virus. Ugh. I won't be loading games from them anymore!

What I'll do next time:

I think next time I'll stick with the bigger moneymakers and ignore the ones where I only made less than a dollar or two for the entire month. 

Next challenge:

Monday, October 27-Wednesday, November 26 - I'll think of a clever name between now and then, but this will take us to the day before Thanksgiving, so it will be a nice way to either make money for holiday presents or save some money for unexpected holiday/end of the year expenses! I'll share more details here and on the Instagram page when it's closer!

I also plan to break down all of the different sources and discuss some of the ways to make money with them and whether or not they're worth exploring. If anyone has any resources they'd like me to look into and test out, leave a comment and let me know!

Holiday Money Saving Challenge

Hello! I never intend to stay away for so long but life gets away from me! I posted about this on my TikTok account  but wanted to share here. Starting tomorrow, Friday October 17 and going until Wednesday,  November 26, I'm doing another savings challenge.
